Its a good way to manage people, and keep track of eachother. I don't have any idea about the features of a platoon, but it seems to function like an ingame clan system

Have you made a Platoon yet? If not I will make an official |H*S| Clan Battlefield 3 Platoon for the clan and post up the details here so players can join it.
